San Antonio Children's Museum
Do you remember as a child playing “make believe”?
Maybe imagining you were an astronaut, firefighter, or doctor. Did you ever travel into the distant lands of your back yard to make new discoveries?
San Antonio Children’s museum is the venue to make those dreams and aspirations a tangible reality for children today. Since opening its doors in September of 1995, The San Antonio Children’s Museum has been committed to building a community space dedicated to early childhood development. Their events and exhibits have inspired over two million visitors to explore three floors of hands-on exhibits that spark children's imagination and help them discover a world of knowledge.
Located on 305 E. Houston Street in downtown San Antonio, The Children’s Museum offers a wide array of exhibits for example, shopping at a grocery store, live animal presentations, and science exhibits.
The San Antonio Children’s museum will spark the interest of your child and open their minds and imaginations to the world they are living in! Classes and events are offered weekly, offering your child a wide variety of exhibits that will always keep their interest and teach them new things! Summer camps are available to give your children an opportunity to experience and learn from all the facilities within the museum.
San Antonio Children’s museum is open 7 days a week with normal business hours and offers inexpensive admission prices like $5 dollar Mondays and general free admission for Children under 2 years old. The museum is a great venue for parties and is available for school events during the year.
